CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
MARCH 26, 2019
This year we will be honoring our local Scholars from Mountain Heritage High School at a North Carolina Scholars Luncheon at the Burnsville Town Center on May 13, 2019. We need your help again this year as we have approximately 67 students who qualify. This is the largest group of Scholars we have celebrated and we are extremely proud of our graduates for their hard work. The requirements for becoming a North Carolina Scholar are a 3.5 un-weighted GPA, College Prep Curriculum plus 2 upper level 5pt electives, 1 CTE, and 1 arts course. This is quite an achievement for these students. We have changed the event to an evening event so that the parents of these students are able to attend with the Scholars and also to make the event a more memorable one for these students. The cost to sponsor a student for the dinner is $17.00. We need your help to make this dinner a success. Can you help by sponsoring one or more students? If you wish to help, a check can be made payable to CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and mailed to 106 West Main, Burnsville, NC 28714. Contact the Chamber Office for more information at 682-7413. Thank you in advance for your contribution.

The TRACTOR Difference
TRACTOR sources the produce for each CSA box from multiple farms in WNC. This allows the consumer access to a larger variety of fresh local produce than that which is offered on just a single farm.
TRACTOR offers a spring, summer, and fall CSA season, each lasting 6 weeks. For each season, you can choose whether you want a small or a large size share and also add on an egg share. The customer only has to commit to a single season at a time, as opposed to an entire growing season. This makes it a more flexible option for many customers.
TRACTOR works with local business to provide CSA’s for their employees. Many times this is part of the wellness programs for these businesses. TRACTOR often uses payroll deduction as the method of payment. So instead of paying a large lump sum upfront, the payment is broken down over the frequency of the pay periods. This makes CSA membership possible for more families who could not afford to pay a large amount at once. To enroll visit our WEBSITE.
TRACTOR is located at 54 Ferguson Hill Road, Burnsville, NC. See our WEBSITE for more information.
