CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

DECEMBER 18, 2018

"What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!" Dr. Seuss

THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1733 - A skirmish at Grass Cove in Queen Charlotte Sound results in the deaths of two Mori and nine members of Cook's expedition, New Zealand. (Someone was overheard muttering "Can't we all just get along"!!!).

SHOPPING

Holiday greetings from Snakeroot! In 2018, hundreds of people experienced the magic of a guided Snakeroot outing: blue ghost fireflies, rare orchids, magical foxfire, and hidden waterfalls.

Gift cards are currently available for 2019 outings. By giving a Snakeroot experience to a loved one, you are helping to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation for local biodiversity, and are supporting the sustainable use of our beloved Blue Ridge forests.

Gift Cards can be for any amount; here are a few standard options:

  • $60 = tickets for 2 on a firefly walk (May, 2019, dates TBD)
  • $120 = half-day custom outing for 2
  • $200 = half-day outing for 4

If you want a physical card by Christmas, you must submit payment by the end of the day, Tuesday, 12/18. For digital cards, payment can be made up until Christmas Eve. Due to my schedule, all digital cards ordered after 12/18 will be sent on Christmas Eve. Email info@snakerootecotours.com for more info or simply submit payment via Paypal
