Club Events on the Mountain
Our award-winning Clubhouse not only offers an array of casual and fine dining options, but is also host to several social events throughout the year — there’s always a reason to celebrate on the mountain! Check out our 'Family on the Green Fridays', 'Dinner Socials' and 'Stock Your Wine Cellar Tastings'. We believe every holiday and season is worth bringing the entire community together to enjoy — be it Woolly Worm racing, a 4th of July celebration, a Mother’s Day dinner or a Halloween party.

Before I got into the real estate business, I had a photography business for 26 years. In 1996, I was fortunate enough to be chosen as the portrait photographer for Mountain Air Country Club. My responsibilities included taking employee portraits, owner family portraits and monthly coverage of member parties at the clubhouse. It was incredible to be a part of the early days on the mountain. The clubhouse was new, there was housing going up everywhere and members all knew each other by name, as there were only about 50 owners at that time!
I obtained my real estate license in 2007 and went to work for Mountain Air Development Corporation for two years, selling real estate. This was an easy and joyful task for me, as I loved the mountain and the history of the Mountain Air Community, and I truly believed that it was the best place to be if you wanted to be in a gated community in the Western North Carolina mountains.
Even after opening my own real estate company to expand my sales base in the Asheville and Burnsville areas, I still believe that Mountain Air is the best gated mountain community in Western North Carolina in which to live. The views will take your breath away in every direction. They call it a country club, but in my mind, it is more of a community. At 4,600 feet elevation, the summer temperature averages 75 degrees. When people move to the mountain, they find themselves, and make life-long friendships in the process.
The unique part of being at Mountain Air is the fact that they have miles of hiking trails and a naturalist to assist you along the way, tennis courts, a golf course, kids' day camp, golf shop, market, fitness center, spa facilities, parks for picnics, three dining facilities in season, heated pool, a mountain runway for private planes ... and it is filled with the nicest people you will ever meet in one community. The residents come from many places around the country and they all have one thing in common: they love living at Mountain Air, whether it is year round or just a few weeks throughout.
I have also added property management to our list of services we offer for Mountain Air owners.
Yonder Luxury Mountain Rentals will be handling any of your rental needs on the mountain, whether it be vacation rental or a long-term rental client. They have a team of professionals to assist you with any questions you may have about putting your property on a rental list for Mountain Air. Several of my buyers in the past were renters first. It is a great way to try out the community prior to buying a second home property.
Summer Rentals at Mountain Air
Most of my new buyers on the mountain are families who have been renters in the past and found out how much they loved Mountain Air during their short stays. It doesn't always happen on the first trip. I have one couple who have been renting for several years and just closed on their condominium this past December.
If you would like to discuss rental possibilities, please contact Tony with Yonder Luxury Vacation Rentals. I have included some marketing information from them for your reading pleasure! Have a great day!
